RYANAIR announced a new route from Dublin to Lodz, the second largest city of Poland yesterday.
The new route – Ryanair’s third to Lodz – starts on April 4 and will operate twice weekly. Seats on the new route are on offer from €9.99
Ryanair also announced that many of its Dublin pilots received windfalls of over €60,000 each by selling their share options, which became exercisable from Thursday.
Based on yesterday’s share price of €7.50, the options have a value of €190,000, yielding windfalls of over €60,000 for each participating pilot.
The share options form part of the collective five-year pay, benefit and share option scheme that the Dublin pilots negotiated with the airline in November 2000.
